Subject:Capitalism is a system of Greed that adds no real value to human life.

I can consolidate my observations and draw my own conclusions on what life on earth is all about. The presence of intelligent extra-terrestrial life that has NOT tried to dominate us and steal our resources tells me alot about the silliness of the human race.

Subject:What I learned from being an Extrovert
Security:Public

Extroverts need people. As a result of their needs, they find away to survive by perfecting the skills to creating fast, long and deep friendships.

I am a serious extrovert. I form deep friendships pretty quickly and pretty fast. The single biggest and most important mindset that I have learned that allows me to make friend is to believe that all human beings are genuinely good and that if for whatever reason they did something that might have offended or bothered someone else they usually did it for self-preservation or possibly the selfish defense of self-preservation.

Walking into any communication with this perspective will generally make you friends. Believing in this ideal also changes the words or phrases that you use. Choices of words can turn an argument into an interesting conversation and visa versa. There are a few exceptions. Some people you approach may have decided for whatever personal reason that they do not wish to be friends with you. For example I have met people who initially did not wish to communicate with me or develop a relationship with me because they had preconceived ideas about Asians, or that I was too enthusiastic for them to handle. It would be very hard to make friends with people who have already pre-judged you as not good friendship material. Another reason that someone might not wish to be friends with you is that you introduced an idea to them that fundamentally disagrees with their world view. For example, if I were in the US and I spoke to someone who firmly believed in the right to bear arms, and I said that gun ownership increases crimes might cuz someone to argue with you.

Along with giving individuals this initial benefit of doubt (trust), and being happy, listening, acknowledging and responding with interest to what people say and relating it to yourself and your understanding of them and the world will generally open communications with strangers. The strength of this friendship will usually increase with time as their contact  with you leads them to trust you more.

Subject:My thoughts on Expression of Feelings
Security:Public

Observing and expressing your feelings are very important. You can use your rational mind to rationalize your behavior the best way possible for a given situation. Your feelings on the other hand gives you actual clues and insight on what really happened in a situation and is the guide to the truth of what you really experienced.

Expressing your feelings, is almost like accepting the truth of what happened.
You can always bury your feelings by numbing your sensual self and using the rational version of what happened to alleviate responsiblity and attachment. By building a sanitized version of what happened in you mind and accepting that as truth you create a discrepancy between what actually happened and what you think happened. The emotional mind knows the emotional truth and I believe that this discrepancy can create anxiety, stress and dissatisfaction which can lead to long term unhappiness as well as isolation.

I think even though expressing you emotions are hard, leaves you in a vulnerable state, and can cause intense pain or pleasure, it is necessary in order for us to move forward in our lives and to not let good or bad experiences cumulate in our mind and prevent us from tackling similar more complicated experiences in the future.

I think what it comes down to is the ability to accept that you are less than perfect and that you can forgive yourself.
I think if you can forgive yourself than it will make it alot easier to forgive others.

Subject:Life from the perspective of a creator
Security:Public

Well if you have know me for a long time you will probably understand that I am different. I have wild and crazy ideas and then I go forth to build. Creation as I understand it from my personal experience happens in two phases. In the first phase you have plans and designs in the second phase you have the act of executing the plan.

For me this is all there is in life - individual creation and mutual creation. In the most simple terms it is about seeing and building. Struggles happen when someone who is close to you sees something and you see something different. They create in conflict with you in your space and the closer you are the more difficult. Everything is a creation. People create relationships, work projects, industry, business, art and song.

Life to me has nothing to do with the collection of things. When someone loses the power to create because they are under the influence of other creators or are two enclosed by fear or routine and  have forgot that they are creators they could become collectors or followers - thinking that collecting and following will give to them the happiness of creation. Collecting and following to me are more like secondary levels of creation. In my world view, words are very important because communication initiates the magical planning phase of creation. For me this is the most difficult thing to deal with in mutual creation. Anytime you agree with the words of someone else you are in essence complying to their creative plan. Don't get me wrong. I think mutual creation is something miraculous. However anytime you read and agree with the words of someone else you should be aware that you are consenting to something and you should be aware that the universe has infinite possibilities. Just because someone saids it  is true doesn't make it true.

I also believe that we human beings have a need to create and when we stop creating we start experiencing unhappiness, lack of control in our world, and dissatisfaction. The act of creation is what genuine freedom really is - at least for me.

Think of when you were the most happy last... Chances are it had something to do with individual or mutual creation.

Subject:How the Banker's stole the People's Money!
Security:Public

The guy who investigated the Savings and Loans Scandal in the 80s, wrote a book called "The best way to steal from a bank is to own one" goes in detail on an interview on PBS on how the banks orchestrated and then proceeded to steal the people's money.

Bad mortgages did not bring down the economy it is the bankers and insurance companies that took advantage and sold multiple time over these bad loans and their derivatives as AAA (triple A low risk financial products) that brought down the ecomony. Even worst they then used taxpayer's money to cover up their scams:

http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/04032009/profile.html

It was these same people that lobbied the government to deregulate mortgages to create short-term gains, high-risk mortgage loans in the first place. Mortgage approval process is a well documented process, to deliberately throw away all these standards and then to say that these resulting financial products have the same risk factors as standard mortgages is irresponsible. Everyone in the financial system knew that these deregulated loans were high risk to offload these as triple A products is fraudulant.

Subject:Ancient Civilizations on Mars and the Moon
Security:Public

Richard Hoagland has been reviewing and analyzing photos of Mars and the Moon from NASA and has found strange archaeological structures that NASA has not spoken about to the public. These photos are available for public access and copies can be obtained if you know what to look for.

On the moon he has found from photos from NASA from various moon missions, strange semi-lit lattice and dome-like structures as well as free standing light reflecting structures. By piecing these photos together he and his team of researchers believe that these structures maybe glass like structures that reflect and absorb light. In the photos these structures appear as clouds or areas of speckled light.

I have linked some of the photos he has spoken about below. If you would like to find out more about these photos and his discoveries you should buy or download his video "Hoagland's Mars - The Moon and Mars Connection".

He has also intensely studied the face-like structure on Mars and found a complex series of archaeological structures surrounding the face that reveals complex mathematical connections. This archeological section of Mars is known as Cydonia. He also identified a 5-sided pyramid in Cydonia which he called the D&M pyramid. His mathematical analysis of this pyramid pointed to the significance of a tetrahedron and the significance of the angle 19.5.

From this pyramid he made the following leap, that if a tetrahedron was placed in a circle the base corners of the tetrahedron would hit at the latitude of 19.5. He then observed that on many planetary structures, a turbulent geothermic/atmospheric force can be found at 19.5 latitude south or north depending on the magnetic polarity of the planet. For example on earth the largest volcano is Mauna Kea located at 19.5 N latitude and 155.6 W longitude, on Jupiter the red spot is 22 S according to Hoagland it is 19.5 S, on Neptune the Great Dark Spot is measured at 20 S.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNrqJzgFwro&feature=PlayList&p=21B7BC2A80AF2220&playnext=1&index=3

He believes that this energy is coming from higher dimensional spaces.

Regardless of the accuracy of the mathematical indications and predictions, the fact that there are deliberately constructed tower-, dome- and face-like structures in addition to pyramids on Mars and the Moon are remarkable. The fact that the only person researching and investigating these structures is some independent NASA consultant is incredibly sad and suggests that NASA as well as other government space organizations are either neglecting their job or failing to inform the public on incredibly important archaeological history of either our ancestors or other intelligent lifeforms.

In the show "In search of..." hosted by Leonard Nimoy on Season 4, Episode 19 interviewed Maurice Chatelain a space scientist and quoted him as saying "No doubt aliens have walked among us".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzE0Lx_qweo

In the documentary, "First on the Moon - The Untold Story", Neil Armstrong discuss the UFO sighting, not discussed by NASA.

Further indicating that extra-terrestrial proof is being covered up by our governments. We are not too innocent to understand and no one person or group should be acting as parental advisory on all humans on the planet.

The truth is revealed only through rigorous inspection, quantifiable and qualifiable observations, and analysis. This is only possible if all information is freely available and has channels for dissemination.

Anyone that uses either their authority as a subject matter expert, or their power in numbers or their power in resources and wealth, to subvert the dissemination and the persistence of truth, is standing in the way of human knowledge and progress.

Subject:What is killing the honey bees? Save our honeybees - the forgotten part of our foodchain!
Security:Public

Honey bees are integral to the food source for all of humanity. Most fruit and seed production requires the cross pollination of plants and honey bees does most of this work. This is why a beekeeper does not pay taxes because his/her work is vital to the food chain.

In the recent decades honey bee mortality levels have increased over 20%. Some honeybee keeper has lost 70% of their bees.

(Stats from NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/17/science/17bees.html)

I know a honeybee keeper in Canada that had lost 50% of his bees in a single year.
In May of 2008, the Guardian in the UK posted an article where Germany bans the use of Clothianidin or neonicotinoid Bayer pesticides on crops that studies shown killed honeybees.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/may/23/wildlife.endangeredspecies

Another article, is looking at the role of Cry1Ab, a toxin for butterfly and moth larva, created by genetically modified corn and canola plants. Cry1Ab is not lethal to honeybees but may have negative side-effects for bee development and may weaken the bee's immune suppression. Studes done in Mexico of high concentrations of Cry1Ab, caused bees to take longer to ingesting affected syrups and to be impaired in learning, which lead to lower of honey production. Blueberry Custard Tart Recipe

The best thing about this recipe is that it can be made with any fruit and the ingredients are not as fatty as most desserts of the same type yet tastes just as good. A good way to spice up fruit in the fridge that are getting ripe.
the tart can be frozen as well. I have frozen tarts and thawed them again for eatin later and they tastes as good as a freshly made tart.

1/4 of pint of blueberries
1/8 cup of skim milk
1/8 cup of partially skimmed evaporated milk
1 egg
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tbsp of cassis
1 tbsp of flour
A few drops of vanilla optional or almond extract

1. Preheat oven at 400 F (I use a toaster oven but you can use a conventional oven as well. In a conventional oven I might go with 375 F).
2. Make the pie portion of the cornish pie journal entry:

http://yuenping.livejournal.com/44577.html

You will have to appropriately portion out the ingrediants to a smaller size. One cornish pie makes about one six inch pie crust.
If you are using a spring form pan, line the pan with parchment paper before putting the pie crust in, or the custard portion of pie will leak away.

3. Beat egg in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed.
4. Add in skim milk, evaporated milk and and mix.
5. Add in sugar and flour and mix thoroughly until no lumps appear.
6. Add in vanilla or almond extract and mix.
7. If you are using a spring form pan, line the pan with parchment paper before putting the pie crust in, or the custard portion of pie will leak away.
8. Arrange berries on the bottom of the pan. Pour custard over berries. Berries wil float to the top. Save room on top for the cassis which you can add on top of the berries. This will give the top a yummy flavour and a nice dark purple colour.
9. Bake for 40-50 minutes in oven at 400 C or until done. You can check if you pie is done by sticking a knife through it. When done no milky substance will stick to the the knife. The egg custard when done will also form a peaked dome on the top of the pie.

Cool and serve with whip or ice-cream of choice. At Ron and YP's place all dessert's are served with homemade ice-cream!

I really like this sorbet recipe. I really like cassis but the asian pear sorbet is delectable. Ron made orange juice sorbet with tropicana that I thought was fabulous. I decided that an asian pear sorbet might be very yummy. At the last minute I threw in some cassis. Delicious, cassis is one of those magical potions that enhances everything.

Pear and Cassis sorbet:

Ingrediants:

Juice and rind of 1/2 lemon (prevents the pear from browning)
1 asian pear, peeled, cored and cut in small chunks, pour lemon juice on pear as soon as cut to prevent browning of pear.
1/3 cup of sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp Creme de Cassis liquor (blackcurrent liquor) you can find it at any LCBO.

1. Blend pear, lemon juice and rind, sugar and water in blender until completely pureed.
2. Stir in one tsp of creme de cassis.
3. Throw in ice cream maker and freeze.

Yummy!

Subject:Low Fat Cornish Pies...
Security:Public

Pastries do not have to be high in fat. Just make it yourselve and put less fat in it. The pie in my cornish pies have only a little over a tbsp of butter per a pie - about the same fat content as toast. Cornish pies also make great portable snacks and lunches - for people on the go.
I make alot of my own food now that we have cut GMO's out of our diet.

Makes about 6 pies

Day 1 Filling any stew recipe that you like will work.
I made a tomato chicken filling The recipe is listed below:

Day 2 I made the pastry and baked

Chicken Tomato Stew Recipe (Day 1)

Ingrediants:
1 pound of skinless and boneless chicken diced into 1/2 cm cubs
1 onion
2 tomatos
1 large potato
1 large sweet potato
2 cup of white mushrooms
2 large carrots
2 tbsp non GMO, soya sauce
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp rice wine
Choice of Italian spices, I threw in a tsp of parsley and chives because that is all I had at home.
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp seseme oil
1 tbsp potato starch (any starch, I use potato cuz I am avoiding corn for GMO reasons)
3 cups water
2 tsp garlic
2 tbsp sunflower oil (any oil, I use sunflower because I am avoiding canola/corn/cottenseed oil)
1 can of tomato paste

Instructions:

1. Marinate chicken with soya saurce, 1 tsp garlic  (1/2), soya sauce,
1 tsp salt (half), sugar, rice wine, pepper, 2 tbsp of water,
1 tbsp of sunflower oil (1/2), seseme oil and starch. Mix well and let sit.

2. Chop garlic and onion into very small bits. I use my hand chopper.
Dice tomatos, potatos (sweet and normal) and carrot in 1 cm cubes.

3. Heat large pot on medium heat with the rest of the sunflower oil.
Throw in garlic, and onions when oil is hot. Saute until brown.

4. Throw in tomatos. Cover and let cook for a few minutes.

5. Add in water and bring to a boil.

6. Add in potatos and carrots

7. Let simmer on medium low heat until the water until is almost gone.
Approximately 20 mins.

8. Add in the tomato paste and the mushrooms.

9. Your sauce should be thick in consistency. If sauce is still liquidy,
Take some potato starch or flour and mix with a small amount of water until dissolve.
Add the mixture to the pot and stir. Repeat until the stew is really thick.
I recommend making the mixture really thick without distorting the taste
of the stew it should be forkable.

One issue I ran into is that when I make the
pie crust thin (1-2 mm dough), which is how I like it , the stew soaked through
my pastry and broke alot of them. When the pastry is thick (3-4 mm) you do not have to worry
about the stew soaking through.

10. Add salt as required for your taste preference. A little salty-er  is better because the
pastry will take away some of the filling's standalone saltiness.

Pastry and pie filling (Day 2)

 Pie Ingredients:

1 1/3 cup white flour
1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 eggs (optional when using butter)
1/2 cup of melted butter
1/2 tsp of salt (optional, I don't usually add this in because my filling is salty and I usually make extra though for dessert pies.

If you want less fat you could avoid using the eggs. If you want to substitute the butter with oil I recommend you use the eggs. I have never done the cornish pies with oil before. Good luck!

Instructions:

0. Pre-heat oven at 400 F.
1. Mix the dry ingrediants together.
2. Make a hole in the dry ingrediants and add in melted butter and eggs. Mix throughly.
3. Divide into six equal size balls.
4. Roll out each ball on flat floured surface. Remember to flour your rolling pin.
5. Roll into circles of about 3 mm in thickness. I usually roll to about 1.5 mm. But I caution you about the sauce soaking through.
6. Pull a scoop of filling on 1/2 of the circle leaving room around the edge for sealing the pie.
7. Flip the unfilled half over such that the lip of the unfilled half touches the filled half forming a half-moon.
8. Seal the edges together by pressing the top edge onto the bottom with your thumb all around the half-moon.
9. If you are right handed place your thumb under the bottom edge on the right end of the half-moon.
10. Flip the bottom edge over and press it against the top edge. Repeat until you have reached the left end of the half-moon.
11. On a cookie sheet, place a piece of parchment paper or tin foil
12. Dust the bottom of your cornish pie with lots of flour. Place on cookie sheet. With a fork poke holes into each pie to allow the hot air to escape.

Subject:We have been lied to....
Security:Public

You can only trust what you can directly observe and what can consistently be observed.

1. There is no evidence that directly indicates that Osama Bin Laden orchestrated the 9/11 attacks.
2. The creation of money is a form of taxation.
3. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, which was the only reason that the Bush Administration had to start a war on Iraq.
4. There is no relationship between Osama Bin Laden and Sadam Hussain.
5. The US government had lied about alien contact and purposely lied to the American public. Over 200 government employees and contractors have come forward to admit that they were required by the US government to lie about and purposely hide proof of the existence and contact with Alien lifeforms.
6. The US government is responsible for the ozone hole and have admitted to denoted Atomic Bombs in the atmosphere.
7. The financial bailouts are another form of taxation on the public without the consent of the people.
8. The corporate media consistently confirms what the government tells us without regards for the truth or the interest to investigate as an independent information source.
9. Global warming is a lie. There is proof from various ice core measurements to indicate that the earth has been much warmer than it is now. Surprisingly the ice caps on Mars are behaving consistently with the ice caps on earth.

Just based on these postulates I can extrapolate that there is a very high probability that the general masses in North America are being lied to and manipulated.

If you have been lied to over and over and over again. At what point do you doubt and start thinking for yourself?

If you are interested in the truth you need to seek it out. If you spend your time laughing at or ridiculing people who present alternative ideas than you have no interest in seeking the truth. You are propagating those lies told to us by the approved institutions who have lied to us over and over and over again. People are doing things in your name and you are furthering their cause by paying them out of your own pocketbook - through taxes and representation. We need to take responsibility for our action and those of the people or groups that claim to represent us. We are not small. We are not weak. Everyone of us is endowed with both a conscience and a miraculous mind. Each one of us is capable of incredible achievements and if we put our minds to it and work together we can do incredible things.

Subject:Obama - waiting to see....
Security:Public

I appreciate that the inauguration of Barack Obama as the first black president of the United States is an incredible precedent which signifies a turn in American history. Black American's in the last century have been trying to reconcile their enslaved past with their current identity. This reconciliation has been a long social and psychological struggle not only for black African Americans but the Americans that have enslaved them. Obama as the president of the United States of America represents, the shattering of last glass ceiling in America for black African Amerians - as a black man taking on the single most influential office that any American citizen can hold.

Barack Obama appears to be a very charismatic and intelligent man, who is as eloquent in words as he is sharp in intellect. My only issue with Barack Obama is that he is directly funded by the same corporate groups as Bush and Cheney was. How do you take money from the same lobbyist and not be subjected to the same political and economic pressures.

Why did Barack Obama choose Joe Biden as his running mate? This is a strategic maneuver to assure the richest and most powerful people in the world, that they had the ear of Barack Obama. Joe Biden was the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, a non-profit organization funded by the Rockefellers, the Morgans and the Carnegie Corporation. The central aim of the Council, as it states, is to "find and nurture the next generation of foreign policy leaders."

At the time that Obama was elected, the American people, and the world for that matter, was hungry for change. Bush had the lowest approval rating ever. The world was tired of the pointless war in Iraq. One might even suggest that the only effect off the war on Iraq, was to create more conflict and terrorists in the middle-east. Between the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the War on Iraq, the Bush Administration appears to have planted the seed for World War III.

Does anyone honestly believe that in 2003 anybody gives a dingle-berry about Saddam Hussein? Nobody seems to really care about Osama Bin Laden either.

I believe that there is a secret government. Their interest is to take control and reduce the human population on earth - total control of all natural resources and enslavement of the human race. The reality is, if you were a-moral and you had all the money you can spend what more is there to do on earth? - Really?

How do you go about doing this? First, you create or control the leaders of fundamentalist and controlling religions. Second, you create or control the leaders of large governing bodies, and convert them into police states. And then you start a world war.

If Barack Obama is really interested in change, the US would stop providing financial and military support to Israel, he would also take all US troops out of Iraq, and he would also uphold the American constitution and work on educating every American regardless of race, sex or colour. I want to see change. I hope to see change.

If Barack Obama increases military spending, continues supporting Israel, increase troops in Iraq, attack Iran, start policing and taking away rights of civilians at home, and institute conscription, then Obama is just another wolf in sheep's clothing.

New clothes same crap.
